Amelia was a big help putting up the tree. She grabbed one of the first glass balls I put on the tree and quickly smashed it to the floor breaking it. So our tree is bare from the floor to about 4 feet. BTW our little helper went in for her 18 month checkup today and tipped the scales at 27.8 LBS and 34 inches tall.

When my girls were little I learned that lesson as well. Just a suggestion: What I did was buy a box of bright shiny plastic balls and let them hang them on the bottom of the tree by themselves. Of course, every day their part of the tree looked different as they rearranged them constantly. It worked marvelously. I enjoyed it because, after all, the tree was theirs, too. Dawn Smith
