Parlez Vous Francais?

This requires a short explanation. We were hiking in the Hyde Park area of Santa Fe. We came across a very nice French woman who was looking for her husband. Amelia has been a francophile for some time now. Once I explained to her that the woman was not only French but was from Paris Amelia curtsied and said my name is Amelie (sorry I didn't get the curtsy on film). But the rest of the exchange is pretty cute.

En Garde

We spent an afternoon at the Santa Fe Children's Museum on our recent trip. They were having a big event with lots of things to do. Fencing was a must. She was reluctant to hit the other person with the sword and would not fight me at all.

First Day of School

Amelia's first day of kindergarten. I was so happy to see her and hear about her day. She is such a big girl now.

Canyon Road Trip

The weather was great this time of year in Santa Fe so we took a stroll down Canyon Road. Outside sculpture is always good for 5 year old kids. I always get a bit nervous going through the high priced galleries with her.

Santa Fe Summer 2009

We just returned from a great trip to Santa Fe. Amelia got to spend time with her Auntie Lynn and Uncle Mike. I took a ton of pictures so the blog will be busy this month. Check back for updates.
