Dance

Part of our nightly routine is watching PBS Sprout. It has sadly become the background of our lives from 4-6 pm. Amelia loves the shows and especially the music. She does little dances along with the music for each show. This is her dance for Dragon Tales. Its a big jerky and she keeps her feet firmly planted in one place. Also, when she realizes I am filming you can see the first traces of self-consciousness appear. This is how we notice her growing up, in little bits.

Little Freak

Amelia had quite a weekend. On Friday she attended a carnival with PaPa AV and Janet and came back with the tiger tattoo on her arm.

While Amelia was getting her "ink" Mom and Dad were having a great time at the Flaming Lips show. We brought back the glasses and pirate eye patch. Amelia wore the patch to Target the next day and kept yelling to everyone about her pirate eye.

Amelia recently started putting her finger on her chin and saying "Hmmm" You must watch.

New "Pino"

If you talk to Amelia you may hear how excited she is about her new pino. No, we aren't sharing wine with her - she has a new piano with microphone. Watch out Elton John!

On a recent trip to the zoo Amelia had a blast hunting for her favorite winged friends.

Papa AV

Papa AV brought over some hair clips recently. Amelia tried them out but only after Papa did.

Amelia had a great time with Baby Daniel last week. She likes her boys young (just like Mom).

Alex Comes to Visit

Alex and Baby William came to visit this weekend. After playing inside Amelia led the charge to cool off in the pool.

Amelia got a little nuts at the party. I can't tell if she is about to hit this guy or give him five. From his defensive posture looks like he isn't sure either.

TaTa's Party

Amelia's TaTa and PaPa Larry celebrated their recent marriage with a party over the weekend. Amelia was very exicted to go and as you can see she really mixed it up.

Drummer Girl

Papa A.V. gave us this drum for her birthday. So far she as confined her drumming to daylight hours, although the temptation is there in the night as it usually sits just a few feet from her bed.

Too Hot Outside

It has been over 100 for the past few days with no sign of relief in sight. Amelia will be by the pool.

Woman About Town

Aunt Alee sent the purse and beads. Amelia loves to throw on the beads and grab purse before going anywhere. And yes that is a child size mop in her hands. Get to work on those floors Amelia!
