First Sleepover

Bella came over recently for Amelia's first sleepover. The actual sleeping in the same room lasted about 1 hour. Bella kept encouraging the younger Amelia to call for Brenda and Emma and to call louder. They slept great in separate rooms.

Drum

One of her favorite birthday presents was this drum from her PaPa. It also came with a harmonica that she plays as she rocks back and forth. So far she hasn't played it in the middle of the night.

You Can't Do This

Amelia spent some time with her Nana, Grandpa and Aunts Brandi and Sabrina last week. She had fun and let her Aunts do things to her that her parents are never permitted to even try, like the pigtails.

Nana

During the party she spent some time with her Nana, who obviously can't get enough of her.

Two Years Old

Amelia celebrated her second birthday this weekend. Of course she had to test the cake first

Then Mom helped her blow out the candles.

Aunti Celia

Hippie Girl

Amelia enjoyed the Edmond farmers market this weekend. With her butterfly glasses and dress from Ecquador courtesy of Aunt Alee she looked great.

Monkey

After Amelia has been swinging for a few minutes she starts saying monkey, monkey, monkey. Then we get her out of the swing and she comes over and grabs the bars and starts making monkey noises. She hasn't quite got the idea of swinging back and forth yet, and her legs are so long that she really can't.

Spring Day

Amelia and Rufus enjoy a great Spring day in their yard.

Higher

Amelia has a real dare devil streak. I think it comes from her Mom's love of roller coasters. She can't go high enough on the swing.

Chalking

Amelia got some sidewalk chalk from Auntie Celia. Now our patio is covered with my renditions of butterflies, bees and Doras.

Amelia got some new big girl glasses and she loves them.

Swinging

She was scared of swings a few months ago. Now she can't get enough. Again, Again, Again is her constant refrain when it comes to pushing.
